Film Explorers 1
Experience level - Beginner
Frequency - One hour class; held weekly for 8 weeks during summer
Film Explorers 1 is for young photographers (ages 12+) to explore shooting film. Each week we will explore a different black & white film stock and learn some fun photography skills. Film will be developed and uploaded to an online gallery for students to download their images.
Bring your favorite film camera with you. (If you don't have one, message Shanna for options.) Students who participate in a minimum of 3 classes will be invited to participate in a group show on August 12, 2022 to display their work.
Film Explorers 2
Experience level - Beginner
Frequency - 2.5 hour class; held weekly for 8 weeks during summer
Film Explorers 2 is for young photographers (ages 14+) to explore shooting film. Each week we will explore a different black & white film stock and learn some fun photography skills. Students will then learn developing skills in the darkroom as we develop our film each week.
Due to the intensive hands-on nature of this camp, and the exposure to chemicals, only 4 students over the age of 14 will be able to be enrolled for each class.
